Fish Cream Recipe


4 oz white fish
1 tbsp butter or margarine
2 tbsp flour
1/4 pt milk
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten


1 Clean, bone and cut up or pound fish.
2 Melt butter, add flour and stir in milk. Cook until very thick, stirring
all the time. Add salt and white pepper to taste. Add beaten egg and fish.
3 Pour into a buttered mould or cup, cover with greased paper, and steam
until set, about 40-45 minutes.
4 When cooked turn out and serve with cheese sauce.
