Below is a quick and simple recipe to make fried breadfruit.


  • 1 Medium Breadfruit
  • Fat for deep frying

Method for preparing and frying breadfruit:

  1. Peel the breadfruit, then cut into even pieced about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Parboil in salted water, then drain.
  3. Fry in hot fat until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Now drain and serve HOT!

Note: 1 medium breadfruit usually serves about 15.
